Challenge
Home admin (renewals, tariffs, council tax, paperwork) quietly costs people money, because nobody has time to chase it. Insurers raise prices on loyal customers, intro rates expire unnoticed, and the effort of switching is enough to make most people stay put. An AI that acts for you could fix that, but only if people trust it with real decisions about their money. I wanted to explore how much autonomy to give it, and how to make that autonomy feel safe.
Solution
The home hub sorts everything into what needs your OK, what has been handled, and what is being watched, so you always know where you stand. A visible trust level, set to propose and confirm, means the product only acts alone where you've told it it can. Each recommendation explains why it was chosen and how the service is paid, and decisions can be reversed within a set window. A voice concierge can negotiate with providers on a live call while you listen in, take over, or whisper an instruction. A document vault files every confirmation automatically, and a partner view lets letting agents refer tenants and see the admin taken off their team.
